Zeiss Microscope
Advice on buying a microscope not sure what to get?
I want to buy a zeiss microscope that will connect to a computer and take pictures I want to be able to see various cells I.e(blood, skin etc ) not sure of the zoom needed price probably a 500-700$ max
It doesn’t need to be Zeiss. Olympus, Nikon, Leika all produce top-quality optical microscopes.
By your question you are, also, very inexperient if I can say. You wouldn’t really appreciate and exploit all the possibilities of a professional microscope. Why waste money for a top-quality intrument you can likely mistreat and break?
Anyways. Most digital cameras can be adapted to fit on a microscope, google and contact your local microscope representative from your brand of choice and they’ll help.
Edit- also, the beautiful images you see are generally taken after staining, so you need to practice that too before really enjoying the experience. A phase contrast microscope can help in visualizing unstained cells, but stains are the charm.
